Do I need a finerd account?

Yes. Your data lives in your finerd space, not in the chat, so the account is what makes your history persistent, verifiable and yours. Creating one takes a minute.

Is my data secure?
  • OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Your AI client never sees your finerd password.
  • You choose the access level. Read-only or Read & Write, picked at sign-in.
  • Revocable any time. From your AI client's settings, or by re-authenticating with a different role.
  • Tokens expire after 30 days. Access stays bounded even if you forget about it.

How much does it cost?

finerd starts with a free trial, no card needed. After that you pay monthly for what you switch on, and the pricing page shows the exact figure before you commit. The MCP connection is part of the plan, not an add-on.

What is the finerd MCP?

An MCP server that connects finerd to Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client, so your AI can import, organize and analyze your financial history, with every figure computed by finerd.

Can I see the same data in the finerd app?

Yes. The app and the MCP are two doors to the same data: the agent works through MCP, and everything it imports or changes is instantly there in the app.

How do I disconnect it?

Remove the finerd connector in your AI client's settings: that cuts access instantly. Your data stays in finerd. If you want it gone too, delete it in the app. Deleted data is not stored anywhere and cannot be restored.
